The kick-off event for the 50th anniversary of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia presented a journey through time through 50 years of world and state history.

Large-scale projections of animated collages on an area of 100 x 15 meters combined with original tones and sound collages combined with live performances by many artists (Gianna Nannini, Bab, Catarina Valente) reminded the 7,000 invited guests of the big and small moments of the past five decades.
